Valentines day competition winner

Valentines Day celebrations were a little bit late for one couple in our area, but worth the wait.

Thomas Fisher won our competition and the prize of an amazing arrangement of 50 hand-tied red roses worth £190. His entry was “I would give these to my wife Maria Fisher after 20 years of marriage I still love her as much as when we got married”

When he picked up his roses, Thomas Fisher said: “My wife loves them thank you very much the flower shop (not sure how I’m going to top this next year).”

We were amazed by the entries we received, and are grateful to everyone who took the time to tell us who they would give the roses to and why. We’re also glad it was a draw rather than having to try to pick a winner! We hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day. We certainly had an amazing day, in total we sold over 6000 roses at our four shops!

Love is still in the air this week for us. We’re attending a Wedding Showcase Event at East Horton Golf Club on Tuesday. We’re looking forward to meeting some happy couples.
